Gregory Duralev Interpol Legal Expert

My name is Gregory Duralev. I am a legal researcher and expert, alumnus of Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (2023). In 2024, I was invited by California Assemblymembers to advocate for new legislation against transnational repression.

In 2016 I became the target of a politically motivated INTERPOL Red Notice issued by Russia. This led to my arrest in the United States on false administrative charges and 525 days of immigration detention. You can check my story on Wikipedia or on Politico.com.

These events led me to write my first book "Under Red Notice" — a geopolitical thriller and memoir based on real events. The book has been included in the collection of the Library of Congress (Control Number 2026909377) and is available in audiobook, ebook, paperback, and hardcover.

I created this website to share valuable information and legal analysis based on my personal experience of a prolonged legal fight that started in Russia and continued in the United States. All materials published here are based on my own research and documentation.

Thank you for visiting.
